May They Be One Bible Run; March 3, 2012; Quirino Grand Stand

Inspired by the prayer of our Lord Jesus Christ in John 17:21,“May they be one Father, so that the world will believe that you sent Me,”the May They Be One (MTBO) Campaign is a joint project of the Philippine Bible Society (PBS), Episcopal Commission for the Biblical Apostolate, National Council of Churches in the Philippines, Philippine Council of Evangelical Churches, Chinese Congress on World Evangelization Fellowship Philippines, Inc. and other like-minded groups who believe that genuine national transformation can only be achieved through the guidance and transforming power of God’s Word.

To date our MTBO Bible campaign has already distributed more than 500,000 Bibles to poor families all over the Philippines. While we are already grateful to our Lord for what we have accomplished so far, we acknowledge though that our output is still very much below the number of Bibles that we envisioned to distribute at a subsidized price each year.

To be able to achieve this goal, the MTBO Board, its officers and staff, as well as its partner-churches, are intensifying their efforts in raising funds to SUBSIDIZE the printing cost of MTBO Bibles which is now pegged at Php.150.00 per Bible. Thus on March 3, 2012, at five o’clock in the morning, join us in a BIBLE RUN at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila.
